By Lama Al Saffar, 2023
Artist's Statement:
E-waste, the venomous serpent than slithers around our planet. It poses a global threat, (with improper disposal) harms the environment and human health. Toxic chemicals and heavy metals spread through ecosystems. Burning processes than happen in landfills releases harmful toxins into the air. We must embrace responsible consumption, implement recycling programs, and enforce regulations. Together, we can create a sustainable future for many generations to come.

The Colors of Pollution
By Halah Noor, 2023
Artist's Statement:
With this photo, I attempted to show how the pollutants that are used to make electronics infiltrate otherwise beautiful environments. It is a call to action to all of those who don’t recycle their electronics and don’t think of the repercussions of leaving them in landfills and oceans.
